15 OCTOBER 2015
Suddenly, those who were supposed to have been alert to spot potential violations of U.N. rules and regulations seemed to have awakened. Several of those who participated in sponsored gatherings,
received awards or passed rewards, or stretched out "partnerships" expressed astonishment. Certain media characters who were amenable to maintaining silence, woke up and started asking
questions -- though cautiously, of course.
What was reported until now about the case of former U.N. General Assembly President John Ashe related to a Chinese businessman and is part of a long-detailed presentation with several
details not explicitly reported. Could there be more devils in the details? Could what was just reported be just the tip of an iceberg, particularly as the winter season
approaches? Would it entail, as the Chinese would describe, "interesting times?"
