| WHAT IS HAPPENING AT UNICEF COMMUNICATIONS?

We received comments from Miguel Silva, a journalist in Spain, challenging the appointment of Mrs. Paloma Escudero to the post of Director of
Communications, UNICEF.
Substantively, the criticism claims she was not professionally qualified and that accomplishments by UNICEF Spain including the link with the
football team of Barcelona were not hers, but were concluded by others before she took over.
As a forum, we are open to produce any comment on it, particularly
from UNICEF Communications, or Mrs. Escudero, and we welcome their response.
