• An international conference in Istanbal on Forests during April. Not likely to attract overwhelming coverage. The U.N. Division on Forests have kept it as well-guarded secret!
  
  

• World Press Freedom Day, announced jointly by U.N./UNESCO, will be commemorated on 3 May at U.N. Headquarters. Let's hope it is not treated as a very well-guarded secret!
  
  

• The General Assembly Committee on Information meeting late April -- early May, may face proposals to cut down further in Information Centres of Developing Countries, particularly those with regional mandates. These proposals are no more secret!
