• A new book by two French journalists, Henri Vernet and Thomas Cantaloupe details eavesdropping during the Iraq war between President George W. Bush and French President Jacques Chirac who reportedly has an unflattering nickname.

• More revealing investigations on Food for Oil are expected by U.S. congressional committees regardless of the outcome of U.S. elections.
