• The General Assembly's forthcoming session will be held at a temporary conference room on the North Lawn as the original General Assembly Hall is under reconstruction. That means less available space, limited number of delegates, and more pressure on Protocol.
  
  

• U.S. and Russian Foreign Ministry officials will be meeting on Syria. U.N. Envoy Lakhdar Brahimi is not expected to attend. Next time: Inchallah.
  
  

• Nuclear Disarmament will get "High Level" attention during a meeting of the General Assembly on 26 September. Ask not what any country will do to Disarm; ask only how much time each speech will take.
