• The Secretary General will be attending a summit of the African heads of state, after appointing a Tanzanian Foreign Minister, Ms. Asha-Rose Migiro, to the post of his Deputy.
  

• A list of new appointments is expected after all those with ranks of Assistant Under-Secretary General were asked to present their resignations.

• A financial disclosure submitted by the new Secretary General is expected to be made public.
